I began my creative adventure of songwriting a few years after I moved to San Pedro, Belize, an island in the Caribbean. After witnessing a solar eclipse, that night I dreamt about playing the piano effortlessly and composing songs. Three days later, the dream became a reality when the song, All is Clear was created. Its first public performance was on New Year's Eve, Millennium 2000, at Tikal, a pyramid site in Guatemala. I have been songwriting and singing since. Presently, I live with my family in The Woodlands, Texas. I am an artist, art teacher and the author of The Color Box,an art and writing game and Be Like the Sun and Shine,a children's book. As an artist, I express myself through drawing, painting and other mediums. Songwriting is my newest creative expression and the journey continues.
